Valley Structures has created a Painted shed that is a Story 1/2 building, On our lot, we have a 12 x 20 Story 1/2 Cottage that has 2 floors. The footprint of this shed is 240 square feet, but that doesn’t include the square footage of the upstairs. Are you looking to downsize and want something that only you are living in? This Cottage will work well for you. You can have your living space downstairs and bedroom upstairs.
But there are so many other things that this building can be used for. We had a customer who ordered a 10 x 16 and turned it into their grandchildren’s playhouse. This extra tall cottage would be a great hunting cabin for you and your buddies. You can bring all that you catch or kill and fry it up around the campfire. Ladies, are you looking for a She Shed? You can do crafts, you can read a book, just think of all the things that you can do. The sky’s the limit with a Story 1/2 shed.

We have seen previous owners of the Story 1/2 building use it for a workshop, a tiny house, or even a playhouse for their grandchildren, One couple used it for an extra bedroom. They would let their children and grandchildren use the house and they would use the shed to sleep in. And yes, a few ladies have turned it into a SHE SHED. This is 1 of the 2 different styles that we offer in this kind of building.
